wow, awesome! 2 of my dearest friends are expecting each her 3rd baby. felicidades! me alegro! mit-freude. und ein bisschen wehmut, sehnsucht …

another catholic festival. 4 days of party. processions, dance, fireworks. and artwork, that took months of preparation – the artists started with their work before easter. gigantic images, made of colored sand (or something similar). they also made images of flowers all over the streets. have a look:

yay! the sun is back. summer, sun, warmth. for some days now the sun is shining, beautiful blue skies, and temperatures of more than 26° c. up to above 30° … i love it!

my heart is burning with joy, love & gratitude … for being here, enjoying all the beauty, the sun, the warmth, the kindness. how i love the sceneries. the ocean. the colourful houses. the guaguas

at the north-west corner of tenerife. incredibly beautiful coast. i so much enjoy the sceneries here! especially at the coast: impressing mountains & canyons, & on the other side always the atlantic. the panorama road to the playa de teno was an adventure: beneath such impressing, wild scarps … made me feel humble & small.

one last time … spent the day with lots of our friends, on a raw potluck. what a wonderful, heartwarming afternoon!

following “the secret”‘s suggestion i am celebrating “lighten up thursday” today. i started the day cycling for half an hour, on this sunny cool autumn day. felt good! after feeding the kids with apples & figs & playing with my daughter it’s time to do some work now. this afternoon we will go out again, to ballett school & taking a walk, enjoying the sun, afterwards. even our everyday life can be so full of joy
