the past week: community. sun. fresh air. on the road. insights. lots of inspiration. dirty feet. borrowed clothes. serendipity. again becoming aware of how life is meant to be: living in a community, living outdoor, living in a warm & sunny climate.

i am just back from wonderful (holi)days – camping at the baltic sea, with some friends, enjoying the sun, being outdoor all day, with lots of fun & exercise. & after that visiting friends in the black forest, rainy & cold, but filled with talks, fun, inspiration.

back home now, with clean feet , washing on the line, sitting at my macbook again, i am filled with gratitude, warmth, love, happiness! wonderful life!

i have celebrated my birthday a few days ago … well, actually i am still celebrating
such gorgeous days with lots of great surprises! a wonderful party, a gift coupon for my favourite delicious fruits, calls, mails & letters. i am so grateful for all of these!

gratitude for nature

some of the pleasures in life: friends, love, food, the sun, babies, nature, the sky, animals, dancing, creative expression, singing, riding, sports, books, music, films, the internet, beauty, sunshine, skin, touch, sensuality, hot showers …

today i enjoyed a lot of them: going for a run. dancing in the kitchen with my little one. spending the afternoon with friends, talking & eating yummy raw treats like these:

during the last weeks i have been quite busy … working while being indoor & spending as much time outdoor as possible … but now here are some impressions for you of what i did:

taking earth day (about two weeks ago) as the motive to start celebrating earth, nature, again this year. spent a warm & sunny afternoon at my favourite gardener’s, planting bantam corn & enjoying the sun & the greens.

these days i am enjoying the sun, staying outdoor, gardening, long walks, wild greens … pleasures of spring. returning energy. feelings i almost have lost during winter. wonderful life!

we are just back home from 2 relaxing, heart-warming days with friends. 4 kids, ages 3 to 9, playing together all the time & getting along wonderful. 3 women, enjoying the time together talking talking talking. what a wonderful life! thank you so much!

regarding dinner, i like the christmas eve tradition of my childhood: we always had a quite simple meal. something like potato salad & sausages. of course i would not eat these any more but i don’t like to spend this evening on creating a complex meal. so we had a salad of red cabbage & oranges, raw burgers, rice for those not eating raw & an abundance of greens & vegetables with a sesame-dip.
