i was aware of what i had been missing during the last 6 or 7 months – sun! but now i actually realize HOW strongly i crave it. it’s totally impossible for me these days to stay indoor, sit in the office or anything like this. i spend as much time outdoor as possible – enjoying the sun, the warmth, the lightness, the greens. working in the garden, going for walks, cycling, playing, having all our meals as picnic, reading, and, last not least, just lying in the sun, re-energizing. this is how life is meant to be! so grateful to be alive!

money for last weeks' work flowing in

*thanks for seaweed from the baltic sea, harvested on a wonderful sunny day there with friends! thanks for cucumber & miners lettuce by r.! thanks for yummy dates from the central market, fresh batata bought at the wholefood shop & raw peanuts, marinated & dried with tamari & seaweed.

these days i am enjoying the sun, staying outdoor, gardening, long walks, wild greens … pleasures of spring. returning energy. feelings i almost have lost during winter. wonderful life!

warrior of the light

a warrior of the light isn’t afraid to appear crazy … a loud soliloquy is the best way to communicate with the angels.

… i am reading another wonderful book from paulo coelho: “manual of the warrior of the light”.

this one made my day yesterday:
“der krieger des lichts leidet unter dingen, die es nicht wert sind, ist oft kleinlich und kann sich nicht vorstellen, dass auch er fähig ist zu wachsen. … er weiss nicht immer, was er hier eigentlich tut. liegt oft nächtelang wach, weil er findet, sein leben habe keinen sinn. deshalb ist er ein krieger des lichts. weil er sich irrt. weil er sich fragen stellt. weil er einen sinn sucht; und er wird ihn ganz gewiss finden.”

at about 11° celcius and rain … wanna know why?

the tide was high & even with my jeans turned up all my clothes got wet from the waves & the rain … but i really enjoyed the fresh air at the sea! feels so good

furthermore, this day brought to us crates of plums & pears from dear gila & lots of wild greens.

thanksgiving time

actually i am giving thanks for harvested fruit & vegetables for months now … universe really cares for us

last week i found by chance that organic apples sometimes are treated with 50° C hot water to make them better suitable for storage – what a shock! i instantly sent a mail to the farmer to express my concern about this & to ask for details. they rang me up & we had an interesting talk. in the end they asked me to come & pick some apples myself. and so we did – this afternoon
