night & day. never give up, not even the next minutes. now is now. next minute is in the future & wow it can come up totally different. love what is.

had a strange day some days ago. bad night, could not sleep for hours. woke up in the morning feeling sick & weak, vomiting, belly ache. stayed in bed & put off my plans for the day. amazingly, i have not been fighting, just accepting. almost enjoying. during the next hours i not only became better (which is not surprising, i am very very seldomly sick & it never lasts long) but that day (& the following ones) came up with lots of joyful surprises. awesome!

how i love to receive letters, postcards & packages! a few days ago we found a lovely surprise in our inbox – easter greetings from a friend in germany, with handmade wristlets for me & my daughter.

furthermore, we finally made it to the post office where another package has been waiting to be picked up since last week. in there was a rain coat for my daughter & some treats: mulberries & dried pineapple … yummy!

thank you so much, dear s. & a.! i guess it’s up to us to send some mail … time is running these days, with the kids’ father being here for a visit & lots of work to be done.

some of the things that are quite different here than i would have expected them to be: it is not that warm as i thought it would be. especially not inside the house … since yesterday it is heavily raining (and we don’t have any umbrellas or rain coats) … we have got our telephone & internet connection within less than a week. & the technician arrived here absolutely on time, calling before to approve our date.

well … the weather is off our hands … but everything i wanted to & expected to happen, like finding a house, meeting helpful people, getting internet & telephone connections, getting my iphone … just happened. awesome

what i never would have expected is …

got a copy of the rental agreement yesterday & worked through it last night. on monday i will meet my landlady , sign the contract & get the keys for the house. wow!

living on the finca, flat share, with 20 people. about 12 of them living here for a longer period, the others changing every few days: couch surfers. i really like this: meeting so many interesting, open-minded people, living all different lifes. it is not us being “different” or freaky here. furthermore, they are all very helpful concerning the 1000s of questions & difficulties in our new everyday life. thanks to the universe for leading us to this place!

living together in one room, the 3 of us, for two weeks now, is another challenging experience.

becoming familiar with how things work here … everything is new, learning all the time.

i am living HERE & NOW, simply going the way step by step … & the universe really is giving us all we need & want to have. feels so good

these days we actually enjoy our everyday routines … well, those parts of it that are still consistent. familiar activities, well-known roads & faces … knowing that all this will only be part of our everyday lifes for few weeks seems to change everything. makes me feel grateful for all that is.

i was aware of what i had been missing during the last 6 or 7 months – sun! but now i actually realize HOW strongly i crave it. it’s totally impossible for me these days to stay indoor, sit in the office or anything like this. i spend as much time outdoor as possible – enjoying the sun, the warmth, the lightness, the greens. working in the garden, going for walks, cycling, playing, having all our meals as picnic, reading, and, last not least, just lying in the sun, re-energizing. this is how life is meant to be! so grateful to be alive!

*thanks for seaweed from the baltic sea, harvested on a wonderful sunny day there with friends! thanks for cucumber & miners lettuce by r.! thanks for yummy dates from the central market, fresh batata bought at the wholefood shop & raw peanuts, marinated & dried with tamari & seaweed.
