last week universe gave 100 euro to me – for new shoes. the only pair warm enough for winter i own is about ten years old. & my 6 years old rubber boots have lots of gaps. i found out there is a buy-3-pay-2-promotion at amazon … so now i have a new pair of winter boots (a compromise: vegan outer material, but lined with wool), new rubber boots & a pair of linen sneakers for springtime (both vegan).

actually i am giving thanks for harvested fruit & vegetables for months now … universe really cares for us

last week i found by chance that organic apples sometimes are treated with 50° C hot water to make them better suitable for storage – what a shock! i instantly sent a mail to the farmer to express my concern about this & to ask for details. they rang me up & we had an interesting talk. in the end they asked me to come & pick some apples myself. and so we did – this afternoon

today we had a good time at gut wulksfelde, enjoying the sun & eating strawberries & greens. we brought home strawberries, orache, comfrey, stinging nettles & mugwort.

cockaigne ... abundant sunripened cherries ... can't think of anything more delicious!

i really enjoyed this weekend: sun, friendship, talks, inspiration …
