inspired by earthmother i made raw donuts for us. with a filling made from soaken dried plums, blended to jam … but we ended up spreading the donuts because the jam was much better 😉

last weekend we celebrated my daughter’s birthday. we enjoyed two wonderful days, filled with friends, games, fun & some festive treats:
birthday cake
... en detail 🙂
papaya coco drink
papaya horses
yes, she loves horses 🙂
nora brought these funny ghosts
chocolate cream with stinging nettle (blended in) & sorrel
berry popsicle
how my little fairy likes her strawberry ice cream: decorated with lots of borage blossoms
fairy breakfast ... pitahaya, mallow blossoms, strawberry sauce
raw sundae ... booja-booja ice & strawberries, decorated with chocolate-buckwheat-cookie & peppermint leaves
today’s breakfast for my little one … inspired by a receipt in one of her favorite magazines (prinzessin lillifee). they called it “feensäckchen” and of course it was a cooked dish … ours’ was raw & vegan.
actually the bag was tied up, but i was not fast enough ...
look what's inside ...
raw pancake (banana and ground almonds), filled with strawberries. the pink dip consists of banana and strawberry, the chocolate dip is made of banana, carob and coconut oil. she loved it!
the only thing missing is the colourful m&m’s they used in the original receipt. i have not found a way to create a raw replacement for them. so if you have any ideas please let me know!
for those of you looking for nice raw treats: how do you like this tartlet?
the crust is made of dates & almonds, filling: grated apple, ground poppy seeds & agave nectar, all topped with banana-slices. i got the recipe for the filling from pavlina – thank you for this inspiration!
